    We ran Jackie Fielder’s Successful race for San Francisco Supervisor. The first Latina to become Supervisor of the Mission District, Jackie is a thoughtful, pragmatic Democratic Socialist with who fights hard for her constituents and pushes bold economic initiatives.

  • REAL REFORM No on D, Yes on E

    We defeated Prop D and Passed Prop E with a coalition of neighbors and community groups. Prop D was a billionaire-backed measure that aims to cut San Francisco’s nearly 130 commissions thereby gutting all citizen oversight and we crushed those billionaires with a small but might team. Prop E called for an inspector general to take on corruption at City Hall.

    In 2019, we elected the first Democratic Socialist Elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in a special election against an appointed incumbent.

  • YES on H! RENT CONTROL FOR PASADENA

    We won one of California’s only successful rent control campaigns through a charter amendment in Pasadena.   • YES on M! EMPTY HOMES TAX

    We won YES ON M to pass an empty homes tax in San Francisco with the Democratic Socialists of America. There are 40,000 vacant homes in SF and a massive affordability and homelessness crisis, so we incentivized putting vacant units on the market through a per-unit tax — we believe the strongest vacancy tax of it’s kind in the country.

  • YES on DD! UNIVERSAL PRE-K IN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO

    We ran a Universal Childcare measure to tax wealthy biotech corporations like Genentech to get universal childcare and preschool for all in South City, and raise teacher pay.

  • A TAX ON $10M REAL ESTATE SALES TO FUND SOCIAL HOUSING AND COVID BACK RENT

    Prop I —We won a bold measure to DOUBLE the transfer tax on massive real estate sales to fund pandemic back rent and social housing.

  • GROSS RECEIPTS TAX ON LARGE CORPORATIONS TO FUND HOMELESS SERVICES

    Prop C — A true Tax the Rich measure, we won a massive gross receipts tax on large corporations worth over 50 million a year to fund homeless services. The tax raises over $400M a year.

  • A TENANT RIGHT TO COUNSEL

    Prop F — Taking on the real estate industry with tenants organizations and DSA SF, we won a Right to Counsel measure which gives all San Franciscans a free lawyer if they face eviction.

  • YES ON O - INVEST IN SAN FRANCISCO CITY COLLEGE

    We ran a tiered, progressive parcel tax that targets mainly large landlords and corporations in San Francisco to fund workforce development, services for students, ESL, citizenship classes and other critical needs that make City College the SF jewel it is.
